Invasive:

Posters

The fourteen informative posters created for the Invasive series are able to stand alone, but are intended to be pieced together, extending from their constraints into one another, just like invasive plant species do to their new environments. Upon close inspection of the posters, the viewer can find more information about the invasive plant outlined on each individual poster and can appreciate the beauty of these harmful plants. When viewed from afar, the fourteen posters come together to create one large composition with the word "Invasive" hidden within the foliage, highlighting the danger of the plant that is unseen up close. A small section of the large composition is left bare, leaving room for shelves that contain native plants of Georgia. These native plants symbolize the environment that the invasive species are surrounding and permanently damaging.
