Very Krispy Process & Collection
With the release of my new Illo & Chill – Very Krispy video, I thought I would take the opportunity to share the process of some of my favorite illustrations from the past months.
This week, check out the timelapse process of Very Krispy, which was an illustration that I created shortly after the burning of the original Krispy Kreme location in Atlanta, Ga.
Since this original Krispy Kreme was such a prevalent and iconic landmark, especially as a child, it was sad seeing it burn and I felt compelled to create this piece to shout out all the good times and that I’ve celebrated with a fresh glazed Krispy Kreme donut.
I’m looking forward to seeing the “Hot Now” sign shine bright again soon. In the meantime, enjoy the chill vibes amidst the crackling flames. Make sure to like and subscribe to support my work!
Find the Very Krispy collection, including stickers, prints, postcards, and tops, on the webshop.
Thank you to everyone who has taken time to read this artist journal, and who continues to support my work by following me on any of my social media ( IG | Tw | FB ), subscribing to my monthly newsletter, and/or supporting me through Patreon or my webshop.
