Welcome Week at Shenandoah University is the largest Student Life division-wide event of the semester. During Welcome Week, new students acclimate themselves to their new home on SU campus. The week begins with Move-In Day, when new students are dropped off by their parents to begin their next chapter of life, and continues throughout the week with a variety of events hosted by all departments within Student Life. In 2017, Welcome Week was rebranded with new logos, signage, and schedules to better the experience of both parents and students during this eventful and exciting time. The creation of the "Welcome Home" box, a gift left for all new students upon their arrival to campus that contains a variety of free items and information about important campus-wide resources, was an addition to the 2017 rebranding.
